Charity Box Pushka |

The Chabad Israeli Community Centre offers special charity boxes - "pushkas" - which we distribute in the area free of charge. No coin is too small and no bill is too big, it all fits into our Pushka.
We have produced a unique pushka the size of a can of pop that fits into the drink-holder of your car, so you can even give charity while on the road.
The Lubavitcher Rebbe encouraged putting a few coins in a pushka every day. It is also a special custom for women to put a coin in a pushka right before lighting Shabbat candles. Keeping a pushka in the car, and dropping in your spare change, elevates your everyday travel with an act of kindness, and this mitzva can help protect you on the road.
