Bar Mitzvah Courses
We hold Bar Mitzvah preparation courses twice a year. Help your child prepare properly for this significant event in their life and make it a more meaningful occasion. The course gives children a basic understanding of their place in the Jewish nation, with an overview of Jewish history, philosophy and customs. Boys are instructed in the procedures associated with their Bar Mitzvah, like putting on Tefillin. Lively discussion groups encourage the children to ask questions and build a deeper appreciation for their heritage. The course includes interesting crafts, games and trips.
